I am a Systems Administrator and freelance web developer based in the UK with over 5 years experience in IT.

My skillset primarily focuses on the configuration and admin of Microsoft 365, Azure, and cloud infrastructure (everything ranging from locally hosted systems to data centres).

I currently work for a company in the legal software industry, supporting their SaaS (Software as a service) platform via Azure and other data centre partners, typically with thousands of daily active users.

In addition to 365, Azure, and Windows Server admin, a normal day in the role can involve:

• Escalated ticket resolution
• SQL Database Administration
• Writing PowerShell scripts
• Coding (Custom internal tools written in a variety of languages - C# primarily)
• Project management (Deployment of software via Azure for new customers, data migrations, etc.)
• SQL data conversions (from competitor systems)
• Pre-Release Testing (Regression testing, etc. before being pushed to prod)
